Thai Chili Basil Beef

One of my favorite dishes to order from King of Thai is the Chili Basil Beef. If you love it as much as I do, then you're luck. Here's a simple recipe for you make this dish at home.

1 1b ground beef
Garlic, minced
7 Thai chillies, minced
Basil
Soy Sauce
Spicy Ginger Teriyaki Sauce
Red Chili Paste

1) Brown ground beef with some vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat
2) Add garlic
3) Once most of the water has evaporated, add thai chillies (side note: at first I only intended to use three, but it wasn't nearly as hot as I wanted it - so I added four more. If you can't handle the heat, you may want to stick to only one to two)
4) And as if that wasn't hot enough, add a tablespoon of red chilli paste (it also adds great color to the dish)
5) Once the beef is fully cooked, add teriyaki sauce and soy sauce (about 2 tablespoons each or to taste)
6) Remove from heat and add basil, roughly cut
7) Serve over white steamed rice

Voila .. enjoy!!!
